Presentation Recap “A Look at Mexican Catholic Church Records”

A Look at Mexican Catholic Church Records

Here is a quick recap of my presentation "A Look at Mexican Catholic Church Records" and what you can expect from it for your own research.

Before 1860 the only institution in Mexico that recorded vital records was the Catholic Church and it should be your go to resource to find ancestors prior to that year.

In this presentation I provide examples of church records from the 1500's to the late 1800's. If you are new to genealogy this presentation will be perfect for you. Even if you are not new I can assure you that you will at least pick one thing up that you can use for your own research.

Below you will find an outline of the presentation along with a short description so that you can know exactly what this presentation contains.
