Researching Your Ancestors in the Rio Grande Valley

Come and listen to our Presentation Researching Your Ancestors in the Rio Grande Valley to learn about the best places to do research when visiting the RGV. Moises Garza will be talking about how to plan your trip and also will provide you with the various local archives in the Rio Grande Valley of where you can search for your ancestors. 

The presentation will be August 13 at 10:00 AM at the Speer Memorial Library located at 801 E. 12th St. in Mission Texas. There is no cost to attend and it is open to the public.

  • 10:00 PM - Greet and Meet - Talk About Genealogy
  • 10:15 PM - Presentation "Researching Your Ancestors in the Rio Grande Valley" - by Moises Garza
  • 11:10 PM - Open Registration if Anyone wants to become a member of Las Villas del Norte
  • 11:20 PM - Networking time to meet each other and talk about research.
